Frassati Summer Fest 2019 – I Thirst!
July 26th – 28th, 2019
“The Glory of God is Man Fully Alive.” – St. Irenaeus
Jesus said “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
We all lead very full lives, but is it the fullness that the Lord intended? Often our very full lives actually detract us from truly living.
The Frassati Society invites all young adults to come away for a weekend, and enter into an adventure, an encounter, and experience the renewal of the Lord. With Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati as our patron, the Frassati Society chooses to follow his example of living a life of adventure “to the Heights.”
We hope you will join us!

What is the Frassati Summer Fest?
The Frassati Summer Fest is part retreat, part camp out, and ALL adventure – living the fullness of faith. It is hosted by Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Frassati Society, and led by a talented team of young adults. The weekend will offer insights into young adult faith life and prayer experiences.
What is included in the cost?
A standard registration includes all programming, including recreational activites such as zip-lining and skeet shooting. The following meals are also included: Breakfast (Sat. and Sun.) Lunch and Dinner on Saturday.
When does the Summer Fest start and end?
Registration will begin at 5:00PM on Friday, July 26th, and the programming for the conference will begin at 7pm. We will be done on Sunday, July 28th, at about 1PM.
What kind of lodging is available?
There is limited lodging in cabins available for those who would prefer to stay in a bed. Those who are feeling more adventurous are encouraged to bring a tent and set up camp. Those camping will have access to a fully equipped bath house with private shower areas for both men and women.
Are there scholarships available?
Scholarships are not available at this time, however those desiring to attend and are in financial need, are encouraged to contact the Young Adult Ministry office at frassati@frassati.org for more information on how to apply for financial aid.
I already registered for the Frassati Summer Fest, but now I cannot attend. Can I receive a refund?
We will not be honoring refunds for the Frassati Summer Fest at this time; please contact the Office of Young Adult Ministry at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel if you have any questions.
Is the Summer Fest for me?
The SummferFest is geared to young adults, but there is no age restriction other than being out of high school for at least 9 months.
My spouse and I would like to attend, can we bring our children?
The Frassati Society LOVES families, yet unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children at the Summer Fest. We do however welcome parents to bring young infants who are not yet “mobile.” We understand that it is difficult to take time away but hope that if you chose to do so, you will find that your time away together as husband and wife will be one that is spiritually renewing and will be even more life giving to your kiddos.
Where is Ellis Lake Retreat?
The Ellis Lake retreat is about 45 minutes southwest of downtown Indianapolis and 20 miles north of Bloomington between the Morgan-Monroe State Forest and the Putnam-Owen State Forest.
